Change in Publication Frequency

Due to the exceptional and unprecedented interest from researchers in the Journal of Tourism Management Studies of the Smart Era, and following coordination with the National Media Registration System of Iran, the journal has been upgraded from a biannual to a quarterly publication.


Announcement to Respected Authors and Researchers

The Journal of Tourism Management Studies of the Smart Era will soon, upon completion of its electronic payment infrastructure, begin charging fees to offset a portion of publication costs. These fees are as follows:

·         Peer review fee: 3,000,000 IRR per article

·         Final publication fee: 7,000,000 IRR per article


Scientific Ranking and Indexing

It is with great pleasure that we announce, based on the latest evaluation and ranking report of scientific journals for the year 1403 (2024–2025) issued by the Commission for Scientific Journals of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT), the Journal of Tourism Management Studies of the Smart Era has been awarded the "B" scientific rank. The journal is also indexed on the MSRT website under the "Journals with Points" section.


We are also delighted to inform esteemed professors, authors, and researchers that the Journal of Tourism Management Studies of the Smart Era has been indexed in the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) .

The journal respects the ethical principles of publication and adheres to the guidelines, principles, and rules of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) . It also complies with the Executive Regulation of the Law on Prevention and Combating Fraud in Scientific Works.

Publication License

The scientific quarterly Journal of Tourism Management Studies of the Smart Era has received its publication license from the esteemed Supervisory Board of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, dated July 31, 2024 (1403/05/10), under registration number 96460.

Given the journal's vision to be indexed in international databases, it is mandatory for all authors (particularly the corresponding author) to register and display their free ORCID iD and academic email address. Therefore, all authors are kindly requested to obtain their ORCID researcher identifier before submitting their manuscript to the journal.

Plagiarism Detection and Similarity Check

To protect the intellectual property rights of researchers and authors, the Journal of Tourism Management Studies of the Smart Era employs a similarity detection system during the evaluation of manuscripts. Authors may use the following platforms for similarity checking and submit the corresponding report to the journal:

Important Notes:

·         Authors must submit the PDF report they have directly received from the similarity checking service.

·         The document name must be the article title.

·         The similarity score must be below 15% to proceed.

·         The report must be uploaded through the journal's online submission system.

·         Articles without a Sami Noor certificate will not be reviewed.

This quarterly journal is based on pure peer review and provides open access to the public.

·         In compliance with ethical standards in publishing, the journal adheres to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and follows the Executive Regulation of the Law on Prevention and Combating Fraud in Scientific Works.
