Post-crisis destination marketing has become a key approach for restoring tourism destinations, rebuilding destination image, and revitalizing tourism demand. Despite the growing body of research on tourism crisis management and destination marketing, a comprehensive conceptual framework explaining post-crisis destination marketing strategies has not yet been developed. Accordingly, this study aims to systematically identify, analyze, and synthesize post-crisis destination marketing strategies. A systematic literature review was conducted following the PRISMA guideline. Relevant studies were retrieved from the Scopus and Web of Science databases, while Google Scholar was used only as a supplementary source to minimize the possibility of missing relevant publications. From an initial pool of 17,953 records, 59 studies met the inclusion criteria after duplicate removal and title, abstract, and full-text screening. The selected studies were analyzed using thematic synthesis and bibliometric analysis with VOSviewer. The findings reveal that the literature has evolved over the past two decades from a primary focus on destination image management toward more comprehensive approaches that incorporate digital marketing, trust-building, demand management, and destination resilience. The thematic synthesis resulted in an integrated conceptual framework comprising five strategic dimensions: destination image and communication management; digital and technology-driven strategies; trust and safety; market and demand strategies; and resilience and adaptation. By integrating fragmented evidence from prior studies, the proposed framework advances theoretical understanding of post-crisis destination marketing and provides a foundation for future empirical research and practical destination recovery planning.
